History

Spain occupies an area of 195,350 square miles and is the third largest country in continental Europe. Othe than its mainland, Spain owns the Balearic Islands to the east and the Canary Islands to the south in the Atlantic. On the Africa's northern coast, two other territories are also owned by spain- Melilla and Ceuta.s
