The Argentine Republic is a Spanish-speaking country in southern part of the continent, in between Andes and South Atlantic Ocean. Even with its economic and political instability, Argentina remains to be a safe place for travel. European- styled communities can be found everywhere in Argentina since majority of the population is of european origins.
History
Following independence from Spain in 1816, Argentina experienced periods of internal political conflict between conservatives and liberals and between civilian and military factions. After World War II, Argentina saw a long period of Peronist authoritarian rule; followed by a military junta that took power in 1976. Democratic government was established in 1983, following increasing economic problems, corruption and defeat in Falklands War

Travel to Columbia |

Columbia's reputation as a dangerous country has tempted many travellers to venture into its territories, but few met up to the challenge. They are not wrong to do so, for the place is arift of crime and danger for those who travel into it. Some boast of how safe it can be, if you know how- Ignore these people. But for those who are determined to go to Columbia, make sure you know some local/guide before venturing there. Unlike many backpackers out there (who ask for help, accommodation on the road), the last thing you need in a foreign land is to let people know that you are backpacker/ tourist there.

Columbia's history is filled with bloodshed, civil wars, trafficking, cartels and corruption. Periods of political stability in the country are short lived. Internal conflicts is nothing new to the people of Columbia and country's history.

Travel to Peru
If you have seen pictures of exotic Incas and landscapes in some magazines, you probably would have been dazzled by the beauty of Peru. You can wonder in awe through the ancient cities of Peru, thrown back in time to the age of its history. Or snap your camera through the lost city of Machu Picchu. If you have never heard or seen of Peru, you have researching to do- right now.
History
The history of Peru is so colorful and it is hard to encapsulate the whole history in a few paragraphs. Visually appealing and intriguing, I would suggest to get a tape on Peru and see it all. I wouldn't want to spoil the fun of it. All i can say is; the first settlers of Peru were nomadic hunter-gatherers who lived in caves along Peru's coastal regions.
Geography
Located between Chile and Ecuador and bordering the South Pacific Ocean, Peru has three major regions: the coastal region, the Andean mountains and the Amazon Basin. The coastal region is made up of desert, but contains the major cities and Carratera highway.
Panamericana. The Andean mountains has two ranges -Cordillera Occidental and Oriental
The Amazon Basin is tropical and has many wildlife.

Travel to Venezuela |
(top of page) |
The current political situation of Venezuela is unstable, with demonstrations, boycotts and fights. It is advisable to keep Venezuela out of your list of travel destinations for the time being. For those who are determined to make the trip, do a thorough check on Venezuela's situation and status before you embarked on it.
History
Venezuela was part of Greater Columbia before it separated in 1830 to become a sovereign republic. After the separation, Venezuela had periods of political instability, dictatorship, and revolutions in its history. Only after the military of Venezuela pulled out off its involvement in politics in 1958, the country was able to achieve political stability and peace for many years.
Geography
Venezuela has many sights to offer to travelers; the world's highest waterfall (Angel Falls), tropical creatures and other exotic things that are unique only to its country. Assuming that you come back in one piece or "less-than-a-piece" with the country's unstability and all, you will probably never regret your trip there, ever.
