We just completed the most incredible vacation ever. The two of us are real animal enthusiasts, both with zoo backgrounds in the United States. We had wanted to visit Africa for years and had finally saved up the vacation time and the money for such a journey. We set up our safari over the internet with Mountsafaris adventure (www.mountsafaris.com)

Business trip to China
I am a local guy with fluent English from Shenzhen. I provide one-stop business assistant services for businessmen/visitors who do business or travel in China. I have years of working experience in sourcing, inspecting quality, supplier auditing, schedule following, shipment. I am familiar with the wholesale markets and factories in Guangdong, such as Consumer Electronics, electronic components, home appliances, etc. So I will be your excellent business assistant, when you develop your business in China.
Climate
I am a Wiki junkie and was looking up some climate info for a friend that travels there for work about 3 times a year. This is what wiki tells me:
The climate of Africa ranges from tropical to subarctic on its highest peaks. Its northern half is primarily desert or arid, while its central and southern areas contain both savanna plains and very dense jungle (rainforest) regions. In between, there is a convergence where vegetation patterns such as sahel, and steppe dominate.
Wild Life
Has anyone went to Africa to study any wild life? I was watching a show the other day about a guy that goes into the wild to be "one with the animals" type of deal. He will end up being afew yards away from huge lions and everything else, and has never run into many issues, hes been doing this type of thing over the past decade. Thought it would be nice to know if anyone else out there has done the same.
Racial Tension in South Africa
A friend of mine who lives in South Africa wrote to me yesterday with a warning about current situations in South Africa. So a word to the wise; just be aware that right now racial tension is high. There have been some very big changes recently and they are leaving behind them some very hard feeling.
Top Travel Sights in Egypt Article
I ran across this article this morning while I was looking for some of the places I want to visit. This is in the top five for sure. The article touches points on everything from architecture to the Ibn Tulun. Good read, please check it out!
Kalahari Desert
This desert covers over 360,00 square miles. If anywhere would be a fun time to go dune riding, I think this would be the place. Take loads of water though - named from the Tswana word Keir, meaning the great thirst. :) There is sand and diamond mining here, but many feel the government is being "misguided".
I did some searching and found they have a Safari Camp in Botswana. While reading up, I found this one most interesting (Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park).
Egypt
The First Dynasty was established in 3150 BCE. I have booked many people back and forth to Cairo (The Vanquisher" or "The Triumphant"). Though I have never researched the area too well, I decided today I would broaden my knowledge. :)
Most of the time I think of Egypt I was watching or researching something on the religion topic.
Timbuktu anyone?
When you were a kid did you think this place really existed? Well, it does. :) Check out below for some more details you may not have been aware of!
Timbuktu is located in Mali (western Africa).
The name, as legend goes (Timbuktu has many legends and tales):
The place name is said to come from a Tuareg woman named Buktu who dug a well in the area where the city stands today; hence "Timbuktu", which means "Buktu's well".
Even as an impoverished town, it still seems to pull in tourists from all over the world.
