Meet Friendly Baja Whales On Line (Video + Stills)

My film "The Whale's Tale" presents the friendly gray whales at the San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja California, Mexico. The whales come so close people touch them. This video can be seen on the web, if you have a high speed internet connection. It’s less than 15 minutes long.

This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. No ads and no strings attached. I still sell absolutely nothing.

My video site is:

With any modem you can view new still photos of the whales at:

adventure sports in Switzerland

I have been staying in Switzerland (luzern) for a while. I love the Alps and picturesque view. I am just curious to find out why tourists travel to switzerland to do sports. in fact, there are other alternatives such as austria, germany and france in which the prices might be lower.

Could it be the prestige and status, scenery, price?

Adventure in Nepal

Hi everyone!

Nepal could be the best of your adventure holiday as it comprises 900 km of 1500 km Himalaya. The 8 hightest mountain in the world out of 10 lies in Nepal. Mount Everest is the highest and the most popular region for adventure activities. Trekking in the foot hills of Himalaya, crossing high passes, climbing peaks or expedition to high technical mountains, mountain biking, rafting, paragliding, bunjee jumping are some of the most commenly followed adventure ideas.

Scuba Diving

There are a lot of people in my family who are scuba divers. I have always wanted to learn how, but I've heard that it's a very expensive hobby. How much does the hobby cost, do you think?

Snowboarding, Skiing

I would love to learn to both ski and snowboard. I want to go somewhere with a wide variety of slopes, and somewhere where I can learn.

Does anybody know some good places?

Biking

What are some of the best bike trails? I'm not much of a cycler, but I like to ride some easy trails every once in a while. I have heard there are some great trails in Thousand Oaks, CA and in the Santa Monica mountains.

Helicopter Rides

Has anybody ever taken a helicopter ride? There are a lot of them in L.A. You can see the coast, mansions, and mountains from the helicopters. I wonder how much these this type of thing costs?

Themed Vacations

Have you ever been on a vacation with a specific theme?

I saw that somebody had mentioned going on a haunted-themed vacation. That sounds interesting, and I would love to do something with a theme to it. What types of themes can you think of?

Hiking

Where are the best hiking trails?

There are some great trails in the Santa Monica mountains. There is also camping there. The Santa Monica mountains has some spectacular views of the ocean too.

Surfing

Living in Southern California, surfing is definitely a big part of the culture here. I haven't tried it out, but I have always wanted to. I know that there are some good places for waves here, but I'm sure it doesn't have the biggest ones. I have heard that they are in Hawaii, but I could be wrong.

So has anybody taken a surfing lesson? About how much did it cost, and did you have to provide your own board?
