Travel warning to Bali

If you are aware of the recent Bali Bombing, its been bad. Many Australians and tourists are getting out of Bali as we speak. However, there are still some obstinate Australians who are in denial and still wants to go into Bali.

They have been warned.
And it is not the first time Bali bombing has occurred.

Just how stubborn/stupid can a person get?
bali bombings, drug busts,
it is obvious

Yes, another Bali bombings have just recently occured over the past weekend, it is confirmed that about 2 Australians died, one who was aged 16 and atleast 9 suffered injury and many more others.
You guys have been cautioned, if you still decide to go to Bali, anything could happen.

Spidey,
I don't think the drug busts of tourists in Bali is a reason to avoid traveling there, unless you intend on trafficing in drugs while your there.

The terrorist activities there are a different question. The terrorist group have come up with a very effective plan. It would take a very brave person to decide to visit the standard tourist haunts in Bali at the moment. Whilst the frequency of attacks is low, 3 attacks aimed at tourists in 3 years, there are a lot of other places that don't have the risk. Unfortunately, for the Baliness, an Indonesia in general, if the tourists stop coming, the Bali economy will tank.

It is a sad situtation, but I think for the moment the safe cause of action is to avoid Bali as a tourist destination. If you are already booked look into getting a refund this week. I know Qantas are offering refunds, probably other major airlines too.
