Heavenly Bali, Indonesia

For travelers who are looking for a great place to relax and have fun on a tight budget, please visit Bali... I chanced upon a trip to Bali last year and the beauty of the place blew me away... I was supposed to attend a conference but ended up exploring Bali with every opportunity that knocked on my door...
Bali is very cultural but yet tourist centric... Majority of Balinese practise Hinduism contrary to Indonesia being an Islamic country...

The picture below is of a temple in Tanah Lot, located on an island... During high tide, you can cross over but when you do cross over, watch out for snakes... there's plenty there...

This picture is of rice fields found in Bali... See for yourself how nature is transformed into beauty...

And this picture is of the Uluwatu coast line...

There's a plenty to do in Bali and stuffs are cheap (ciggies and beer included)... Bargaining is a MUST when you are buying souvenirs... For comparison sake, I bought my Bali T-shirt at US$1.58...

Bali is beautiful I must admit.
It has almost become an australian place with the number of australians going there every year.

Heard of Manado? It is in Indonesia as well.
I swear its the best place for diving!!
so many sea craetures in there, until it is almost like an aquarium except better cuz there are so many sea life in there that is exclusive to that area. check it out when you have a chance.

Indonesia is made out of thousands and thousands of islands... Naturally, they would have unspoilt beaches and dive sites... Even the coelacanth is found in Indonesia...

There must be unknown treasures still lying around in Indonesia...

I agree with obenix. indonesian is untouched.
so many islands, hope they don't consume the fishes too fast!!

Hi madmonk,
Coelacanth is thought to have been extinct 65million years ago!!
It was re-dicovered in 1938 in Madagascar if I'm not mistaken.. caught by fishermen..
A school of living coelacanth was found in Indonesia recently and has been documented in Discovery Channel...
