Depends

I think the answer to your question depends on what sort of site seeing you would like to do. I prefer the East over Central personally, because you have the beach, mountains, crazy new yorkers (I mean New York), and tons of cool things to do in Florida. Most people find Central America boring, a bunch of corn and wheat fields.

Eastern or Central US?

Zeuspc, you can read minds!
I think that is what he is asking; what eastern and central US has in hold for travel and sightsee.. :)

The Central United States

The Central United States does not have that much to offer in terms of tourism, in my opinion. The east coast would probably be a much better starting point for you, especially if it is your first time in the U.S.

Eastern.

I like eastern America as it has beaches , sea shore and other beautiful parks which you'll not find in central US so my choice has always been the coasts and not the central zones.
