Mate its pretty impossible to compare Africa - Continent to Israel - Country to Paris - City

Africa is a wonderful place to visit as is Israel and Paris, it all depends on what you want to do for your trip. You can take an overland trip right the way through Africa if you like and spend 6 months doing it?? If you want organised tours with great safaris, unspoilt beaches and African culture then South Africa is defernatly the most organised. It has a great bus system for backpackers and a fantastic range of good quality hostels.And cheap. It all depends on how adventurous you are and what you want to do and also how much time you have, Africa is massive and you will need at least 3 weeks to see a little of South Africa?? Have a search around the net for some ideas like Africa adventure, Africa organised tours, Backpacking South Africa etc... Heres a start:

africa is amazing. not just the popular areas like kenya and south africa. yes they can be more comfortable, but west africa and central africa are amazing and there is so much you can do. you kindof end up being more on your own, as tours arent as common, but you get a wholly different kind of experience.

I think any country has their ups and downs, it really depends what you want to get out of your trip. Maybe you can research some more, or let us know what you would like to do on your vacation and others if they have been there, can be of more assistance. :)

I have heard wonderful things about Africa, and it's beauty. I would think that it would be a nice trip, however, there are many other places I would like to check out before I go there.
