What is the best theme park in Europe? I've seen a lot of coverage of parks in places such as Germany, France and Sweden, though unfortunately I've not ventured further than Alton Towers so don't know a lot about theme parks outside of the UK. I do understand they have some fearsome rides and attractions though, some of which I most certainly don't fancy!
Are they all much the same - rollercoasters, water rides, restaurants, side stalls and so forth or is it a little different elsewhere in Europe?

Unfortunately we do not have so many theme parks in Europe and especially not as large as the ones located in the US. I think that the largest theme park in Europe most likely will be Euro Disney which is located nearby to Paris. In Holland we also have a much smaller theme park called the Efteling which has been around for ages.
