How many Disney theme parks have you been to? Which did you like best? How do they compare?

Are you trying to go to
Are you trying to go to Disneyland in Paris? In my humble and honest opinion, there's no better way to see Disney than to go to Orlando Florida, because that's where the whole themepark dream became reality. Compared to the other sites, it just seems more "original" in the United States. I don't know, maybe I'm just a bit of a purist.

I have been to to both the Disney parks in the US as well as the one in Europe. IMHO the one in France is almost as nice as the US Disney parks. It might be slightly smaller but a benefit is that there are a lot less visitors so you have to wait less long at the rides.
I absolutely agree with the
I absolutely agree with the point that Euro Disney is not of lesser quality then the American Disney parks. It is actually refreshing to visit the Euro Disney park as it has a French twist to it.
Disney's around the World
I have been to the one is Anaheim/Los Angeles. I have been to the original Disneyland and the additional California adventure. If you do travel on your own or go with a friend you can always use the single rider. Which sometimes works out well.
I enjoyed both the Disneyland and California adventure. If you do like theme parks the ones in Anaheim are all pretty close together and generally there are few shuttles from your hotel. You are better off staying in Anaheim than commuting from Los Angeles or stay in Anaheim for the duration of your theme park travels.
I haven't been to the Disneyland in Florida or Paris but plan to go to both. I would also like to go to the one in Japan.
Has anyone been to the one in Japan ?
Also when you went to EuroDisney did you stay in a Disney accommodation and if so how did you find it ? As I would like to stay in Disney.

I have been to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA and California Adventure.
California Adventure is not nearly as impressive as Disneyland, by any means.
I've had an annual pass to both parks for the last two years, and I believe that every penny of the money I paid was well worth it.
I have, however, heard that Disney World is by far the greatest Disney Park. I don't hear much about the others.

I haven't been to any of the Disney parks. My kids, however, are insisting that we go this summer. While I would LOVE to make the trip myself, I just don't know if I want to spend over $1200 for a week's vacation. It just seems a bit excessive to me. I can't make myself do it.
We've yet to go
There are a lot of things that have changed about Disneyland and Disneyworld since Mr. Disney died. I would have loved to have visited one of those places when they were still good, clean family fun. Lately, there have been too many political reasons for me to really consider going.

Disneyland is one place I've never been, though I expect that in a few years time I might well have had to go - one of those places you either go as a kid or a parent.
We'll probably only venture as far as Paris but it's still a trip - Have you ever been? Is there much there to do?
