Keeping your money safe

It's a tragedy, some people have too much money in their pockets when they are walking through a dangerous street and suddenly they lose it or it's stolen. My friend experienced it and it's not a fun thing to undergo :(

I had posted breifly on this

I had posted breifly on this subject in another thread, and mentioning travel pouches. :) There are numerous travel tips on the site below, one of the best is this: One of the safest places to carry valuables is in a pouch or money belt worn under your clothing.

The last thing you want to do, is be in a country, alone with no money or ID!

I always prefer to have

I always prefer to have travellers checks with me and some globally valid credit cards. Its really not good thinking to keep all your money in your pockets and go outside. Its simply so risky!!

I make it a point than

I make it a point than whenever I am in an alien country then I keep only bare minimal cash with me and rest all I keep is an international creditcard and some travellers checks. travelling with loads of cash in your pocket is invitation to trouble only.

I try to never carry cash on

I try to never carry cash on me, even in my home state here. I always worry that I could get robbed at any time, and it is even worse for me if I have to go out at night. I have no idea what I would do in that type of situation.
