I have a problem with my feet and as a result I find that walking long distances is somewhat hard, lest I be crippled the next day. So I am always on the lookout for supportive, soft, cushioned shoes for on my travels.
Any recommendations?

I prefer flat shoes whenever I am traveling without any heel. Since in my office meetings I have to wear leather shoes which do have a good heal, so I have to make sure that I wear non heeled shoes whever I can. They are a lot comfortable.
Honestly if flats are what you prefer, there are options that should enable you to be comfortable and look smart as well. Large heels are not a necessity on a business shoe.
Do your travels include lots
Do your travels include lots of outdoors walking? Or is it generally on tarmac and concrete?
Ultimately I would recommend the same; a good pair of hiking boots. Something sturdy and supportive, that has a good range of choice regarding arch support and cushioning.
