I have always loved history, and would LOVE to go to Colonial Williamsburg, if for nothing else than to see how the people lived during colonial times. Has anyone been? When is the best time to go?
Colonial Williamsburg
Yes I have been there.
Yes its a historical and revolutionary city where you'll find history in front of you. Museums are open the whole year so you can visit any time you want, the climate there is also fine so you'll not face any problem related to it.
I've only been there once,
I've only been there once, and it was just a lunch time trip so we didn't get to see much. If you like that kind of thing then yes it is a wonderful place to go, but you need more than the two hours passing through that we had.
I think I took a school trip
I think I took a school trip there when I was younger. We had to have gone in September though. I remember I had a chance to learn how to make candles and butter. :)
That sounds like fun! I
That sounds like fun! I would assume that there is a lot of things to be done, by people of all ages if you are able to spend long enough there.
I have never been to
I have never been to Colonial Williamsburg, but I have done some research on it. (I'm very much into traveling and knowing the world.)
It looks like the best time to go is in the summer, or at least that's when the most people go. I see a lot of people going in late July and early August. It looks like a really interesting place. I think it would be great to go there - I love historical towns.
