Where I live in Alabama, there are Bass Master's Tournaments several times a year. I know that having the Bass Masters here is good for the economy, but it really gets to be a pain in the bottom trying to get around. There are boats EVERYWHERE! And forget it if you have unexpected guests show up, you won't find a hotel room for miles around!!
Does anyone else have to contend with fishing tournaments and boats galore?

I've never had to deal with boats and fishing, but it's like that here with other events. Sometimes when there are fairs and sporting events. Cars everywhere, booked hotels... it's just horrible. I remember going into Las Vegas on Nascar weekend there. It was almost impossible for my friend to get a hotel.
