You can go water skiing, swimming, bungy jumping, sky diving, or skiing, Thought I must admit the older I get, the less I want to do any "extreme" sports. :) I would rather enjoy the hot pools which are heated naturally. That sounds just like my type of vacation! I think I would also take sometime to visit the Tongariro National Park.

I am not sure about the extreme sports, but this sounds like an amazing place that you can do hundreds of things if you wanted. The hot pool does sound like, maybe I will have to add this onto my list of places. Trying to research so many places, and getting a narrow list is hard - maybe I will just put all the ones I have now in a hat and draw where I plan to go.
