Located on the West Coast, the small city of Greymouth is a peaceful place: the residents are friendly and the city has a unique flavor of both English culture as well as some Maori. The town is located at the mouth of the Grey River. It stands on narrow coastal plains close to the foot of the Southern Alps. Some of the best pictures I have seen of still water are from the Grey River, I hope one day I can visit and test out my new photo skills, put them to good use with wonderful scenery like this. :)
