The First Dynasty was established in 3150 BCE. I have booked many people back and forth to Cairo (The Vanquisher" or "The Triumphant"). Though I have never researched the area too well, I decided today I would broaden my knowledge. :)
Most of the time I think of Egypt I was watching or researching something on the religion topic.
"Egypt hosts two major religious institutions. Al-Azhar University (Arabic: جامعة الأزهر) is the oldest Islamic institution of higher studies (founded around 970 A.D) and considered by many to be the oldest extant university. The Coptic Orthodox Church headed by the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark attests to Egypt's a strong Christian heritage. It has a following of approximately 15 million Christians worldwide; affiliated sister churches are located in Armenia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, India, Lebanon and Syria."

I want to one day say that "I have seen The Great Pyramid at sunset". :)

I am completely in AWE at anything Egypt related. I love all the stories from history of Cleo and her followers, tied into the Cesar era, and everything between. There is something mystic about the sands there, cant really put a finger on it, but its there for sure.
