Toddler Friendly Park

We are in North America, and I would like to start making regular trips with my toddler. Unfortunately my memory is that theme parks only become fun when you hit about seven years old because before then you are too short for most of the rides.

Anyone know of anything a little more friendly for little ones?

OF course there's Disneyland

OF course there's Disneyland and Disneyworld, which both have attractions aimed towards a younger audience.

In order to find more theme parks, I would need to know what areas you are interested in traveling to?

Here in California, we have

Here in California, we have many theme parks that are entertaining for children, or have sections of the park just for children.

Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knotts Berry Farm both have great areas for toddlers.

Those are the main big theme parks for toddlers, but I know that there are many other very small ones.

Also, I do not recommend either Universal Studios or Paramount's Great America to a toddler, as they are aimed more towards other children and teenagers.

SingleAgain, I kind of have

SingleAgain, I kind of have the same issue as you. :) I have a 5yr old and an 8mo old right now. What state are you in, I could help abit more if I knew where you were currently, and how far you are willing to travel. :)

Are there Six Flags parks in

Are there Six Flags parks in other parts of the country, or is it just CA? That's a bit too far from the MD/PA border, but it sounds like a Disney alternative that I'd like to look into.

I agree with your original

I agree with your original assessment. Most children are too short to be allowed on most rides, and would be too scared to be on them anyway until seven or eight years old.

Until that time I would just take your child to the fair when it comes to town.

There are Six Flags

There are Six Flags amusement parks in other parts of the country as well. I am familiar with two in California and one in Texas, but I believe that there are others closer to your area.
