How Old For Disney?

A friend of mine is wanting to take me and my daughter to Disney, Florida for a vacation. She hasn't any kids of her own and can't have any, so does a lot with my child.

She is really wanting to do it soon, but I think that my daughter is too young. I don't think she will cope well with the long road trip from PA, and I don't think she will get enough out of the trip to justify putting her through that.

How long do you think I should wait-she just turned two.

I think that two years old

I think that two years old might be a bit too young for your daughter to get the full Disneyworld experience. I would recommend that you wait until she is a year or two older, but if you do send her now, I would prepare her for it. Get her excited about it, and maybe she will be a bit easier to cope with on the road trip.

Two years old might not be

Two years old might not be too young. While she won't remember the trip when she's older, she'll have a blast in the mean time. Everything will be so real to her.

I dont think she is too

I dont think she is too young. After all she will treat Disneyland as one of her dreams only. She definatly will enjoy the whole experience. Dont give a second thought to it just take her there.

At the time that I posted

At the time that I posted this, she really hadn't had much TV time in her life. She knew nothing of Disney.

That has changed a little in recent months, so maybe now she would more appreciate it. Thanks for the advice.

If she has just gotten into

If she has just gotten into the whole Disney thing, it would be a great time for her to go. I remember, before my first trip, my parents had me watch every Disney movie in existence. It really got me hyped up for the trip.
