Hersheypark has to be one of my all time favorites, who doesnt love chocolate? :) The place is over 100 years old and who would not mind taking a tour of a chocolate factory esp if you are a chocolate lover? Most of the rides are aimed for children, but adults can have a blast too! They have almost a dozen roller coasters for the trill seekers (I prefer dizzy rides myself), and they also have a Wildlife Park that is good for kids of all ages!
Hersheypark Hershey, Pennsylvania

I grew up in MD, and had family in PA, when I was a teen I moved to WV and thats actually the state I lived in when I went to visit Hershey. I did a little research, and as far as myself (and google) know, HP is not closing down, I couldn't find one thread about it. I now live in SC, and I still want to be able to take my kids to a place I have been to, so they better not close down! I remember my mother telling me that when she took my 2 older siblings, they toured the factory and got a piece of fresh made chocolate on the way out. :)
Honestly I love chocolate
Honestly I love chocolate but I can't stand Hershey chocolate! There is a big difference between British and American recipes, so I tend to steer clear of it-just too gritty.
Anyway the park is a wonderful day out if you get the chance, even if you don't like the chocolate.
There are many things, food
There are many things, food wise different between the two places. You'll find your niche eventually.
I loved visiting Hershey, it was like a little slice (or chunk) of heaven.

Do you live in the area near Hershey? I had heard a rumor a little while back that they were closing the Hershey factory, or perhaps it was the park. I have always wanted to go to the factory and see the park, I am hoping that this rumor was false. Please let me know if you have any information, Thanks.
