Many theme parks have special festivities going on during the holidays, especially during Halloween. They often open the park at night, decorate it, and I know that some parks will run their roller coasters backwards.
The only theme park I've been to that did anything like this was Six Flags Magic Mountain. I thought it was a really fun. I love it when parks do themed events.
This would rock! I cant wait for afew years when my kids are old enough to get spooked out of their minds. Myself and other are both horror freaks and love all the classic crazy movies from the olden days. This will rock and might be about the time we are taking our vacation too!!!
Yeah, you should definitely be careful about bringing the little ones to these types of events. During the day, it's usually a lot tamer than at night, so if you do take your kids, take them then.
i have heard good things about knotts scary farm in southern california. i hear they have expanded it.

That would be a good trip for the family, but I will have to wait a bit until the youngest is a tad older (shes only 8 months now). :)
