I'm trying to cost a visit to London but really don't know where to start. I'm on a limited budget and prices for hotels etc in the city are very expensive. Does anyone know any areas that are nice to stay a little out of the city but where commuting wont take too long?
I've been to London on art visits so I know how to get around the city but what would you say are the best sights to see?
London - Places to stay
Hey Angel Eyes,
There is a Easy Hotel in South Kensington on Lexham Gardens which isn't very far for the centre of London. Very close in fact. Otherwise you can have a look at a hotel in Putney. There is a Holiday Inn or a similar hotel that is right next to Putney Bridge Station. A close walk to the overland and lots of buses that stop there aswell.
The hop on hop off bus tour is ideal as it will stop by all the main tourist spots. It is also valid for 24hours.
There are 2 bus companies that do the hop on hop off tour -

There are many different things to see in London. It also depends on what you like doing.
There are a number of different markets that you can go to if you are into that.
Happy Visit to London
