National Museum, Prague

National Museum in Prague is the biggest museum in the Czech Republic. The National Museum was built on the site of the former Horse Gate, so named because Wenceslas Square served as the main Prague horse market.

The permanent exhibitions in the National Museum include:

Admission in National Museum is free of charge every first Monday of the month. The National museum is closed every first Tuesday of the month.
