Have you ever spent time on a beach vacation in France? What areas would you recommend in particular for having attractive, clean beaches that are not over crowded and yet have reasonable facilities nearby?

Places like Corsica would be my top recommendation. When I was there is was absolutely beautiful, not too crowded, but with the facilities I needed within easy reach.
