Anytime I move to a new place, I spend about the first month going out and getting lost, this way I can learn the area. I do like the idea of just taking a couple of things for the road and off I go - sometimes you find some really good places this way.

That's a really great idea, and I love doing this all the time. I love to drive, I find that it is so relaxing. I live in an area where there are so many streets and so many different directions to go. It would be so easy to get lost!
