I have, for many years, been an avid hiker in the Peak District. The dark peaks area is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, with cliffs, rolling hills, rivers, lakes and farm land. Rarely have I seen such varied and lovely land in one area.

Hiking in this area can be challenging, or easy, depending on your skill level and what you are wanting to undertake. It's a vacation for anyone!
